Florence Gardens Street Reconstruction, Florence Blvd and Hwy 79, Town of Florence, Arizona

Turn-key construction for drainage improvements, which involved the complete removal and replacement of roadways in Phase I of Florence Gardens, including new curb, sidewalk, driveways, valley gutters and asphalt; self performed utility relocations and conflict mitigation. Value engineering saved the Town hundreds of thousands of dollars in utility relocations. 75% of the job order was self-performed.

Hunt Highway and Felix Road Repair and Resurfacing, Town of Florence, Arizona

Resurfaced and stabilized isolated failing areas of Hunt Highway between Felix Road and Hwy 79, keeping the project open to traffic during production with the necessary use of a 24-hour one-way flag station/pilot car operation. 100% of paving and asphalt patching were self-performed with our own crews and equipment. Despite the extremely aggressive schedule, all work was completed on time and within budget.

Florence Heights Street Reconstruction, Florence Heights Blvd and Hwy 79, Town of Florence, Arizona

Residential neighborhood with occupied homes, streets not draining well and in poor condition, required removing the entire road section and grade to new plan elevations for needed drainage, utility conflict mitigation and installation of new deeper sewer lines directly under live and very old existing sewer lines located in narrow alleyway easements, all while keeping it in service. 75% self performed.

New construction of a needed major infrastructure roadway to connect pavement between Ellsworth Road and Gary Road on the east end of Empire Road. Install traffic signals and striping to control new flow of traffic. Despite SRP permit issues, powerline conflicts and the last-minute decision by Pinal County and Johnson Utilities to install a water main under roadway, project was paved on time and job was delivered under budget.

Gavilan Peak Parkway (I-17 Frontage Road), Between North Valley Pkwy and Joy Ranch Rd, Maricopa County, Arizona

New construction of 2.4 miles of major county roadway linking Carefree Highway with Anthem and accessing I-17. Complete management of an $8.5 million dollar project including SWPP implementation, traffic control, blasting, removals, roadway excavation, import, box culverts, rip rap, storm drain, headwalls, concrete curb, concrete spillways, conduits, traffic signals, asphalt & asphalt-rubber concrete paving, utility adjustments, guardrail, striping, signage and hydroseeding. Due in part to our partnering relationship additional work was added to the project from both Maricopa County Department of Transportation and Arizona Department of Transportation. Even with the additional work elements added to the project it was still completed on schedule and within budget.


Needle Rock and Box Bar Road, Beginning at Rio Verde Dr, Maricopa County, Arizona

Realigning, grading and paving 3 miles of existing dirt roadways on forest service land. Due to the environmental sensitivity of the area, extra care was taken by our crews to leave the project in a pristine natural state after completion. Administration of the project also included SWPP installation and management, environmental mitigation compliance, traffic control, clearing, tree relocations, saguaro relocations, removals, installation of drainage facilities, concrete cutoff walls, striping, signage and hydroseeding. The project was finished within the budget and accomplished on time.


Bullard Avenue, Between Van Buren St and Yuma Rd, City of Goodyear, Arizona

Management and construction of a necessary public arterial roadway linking Van Buren Street and Yuma Road. Project requirements included traffic control, SWPP implementation, surveying, relocations, removals, underground work, concrete structures, dewatering of channels, earthwork, subgrade preparation, concrete curb, ABC installation, asphalt paving, material testing, installing traffic signals, as well as striping and signage. Coordination between our crews and the City of Goodyear, APS, Roosevelt Irrigation District and subcontractors was essential for completing this project in a timely manner and within budget. Following the positive experience of working with our crews, the City recommended us for an additional project.
